He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Archer and Sue Archer. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Finlay; his brothers, Ray Archer (Kathy) of Belgrade, Montana and Rick Archer (Dee) of Tampa, Florida; his daughter Tia Wooverton (Tyler) of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Danica and Maddox Wooverton; his adoptive parents, Bobbie Finlay and Kay Finlay; and his pet Mooch Archer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
His passions were working in the NICU with newborns and his contribution to the Vermont Oxford Research Study, which allowed him to travel and teach doctors, respiratory therapists, and nurses the benefits of nitrous oxide.
