He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Vanderpool and Sheila Vanderpool; and his son-in-law Travis Berkley. He is survived by: his girlfriend Joan Black; his children, Teresa Nicole Cantu (John) and Clayton Joseph Vanderpool (Mallory); his grandchildren, Jaden, Jorden, Gabriel, Gweneth and Korra; and his close friend Bob Patterson (Carrie).
