Lorraine Yvonne Somerby

Lorraine was born in Oakland California. Lorraine married Thomas Somerby in 1951 and they had two sons, first Randall then Kendall.
They raised their boys in Fremont California and when it was time to retire they moved to Paradise California so Lorraine could be closer to
her sister Darlene Hancock and her two children.
Lorraine had a brother Eugene Randall who passed away many years ago. Lorraine married for a second time to a retired marine named Joseph Medico shortly after her first husband passed away. Both men adored Lorraine and treated her like a queen, needless to say she had a great life.
Lorraine was kind and generous and had a great sense of humor she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Lorraine leaves behind her two sons, her stepdaughter Ellen Hunt and her son Joshua Hunt and his daughter Destiny Hunt who live in Cascade Idaho.
She also leaves behind her brother Lonnie Randall and his wife Anne as well as her sister Darlene Hancock as well as her nephew David Kelman and his sister Leslie Kelman and her son Cole O'Dell and his daughter. She also leaves behind her nephew Steven Randall and his two Sister's Kimberly Collins and Emily Savage and all their children.
Lorraine loved being in the garden club where she met many friends, Lorraine and her husband Tom spent much of their time in their garden and won the garden of the month many times over the years. She also won blue ribbons for her flower arrangements.
Lorraine joined the church and really got involved in every way after her husband Tom passed away as she really needed something in her life as his death devastated her.
When Lorraine married Joseph they both were very active members in their church, Lorraine did all the decorating for every occasion and worked in the kitchen and Joe ran the video equipment and sang songs on Sundays until they moved away to Idaho.
Our sweet mother is now walking with Jesus Christ and she can now rest in peace.
