She is survived by: her mother Joveta L. Donnelly; her former husband Alvin E. Brooks; her husband Howard Jackman; her son Kevin Brooks (Vickie); her siblings, Kyle Latham (Beverly) and Margaret Jester (Lester); and her grandchildren, Kevin Brooks Jr. (Tawnya), Misti D. Oldham (Jerry), Christopher Brooks, Myka Smith (Addam) and Tayen Brooks. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
