He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Tompkins; his parents, Chuck Stegner (June Stegner) and June Stegner; his sister Ethel Green; and his aunt Anne Stegner.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Stegner (Beth) of Arch Cape, Ore., Kimberly Skinner of Lewiston and Michael Stegner (Angie) of Lewiston; his grandchildren, Connor Stegner, Alexis Stegner (Colton Stottlemyre), Trayton Skinner, Teagan Skinner, Eleanor Stegner, Braeden Keane, Danica Keane and Macy Stegner; his brothers-in-law, Joe Stegner (Deborah) of Boise, Paul Stegner (Mary Kay) of Boise, John Stegner (Laurie) of Boise and Mike Tompkins (Sandy) of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; and his pet Pepper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
