He was predeceased by: his parents, Max R. Courtney and Ada M. Courtney (Graves). He is survived by: his wife Linda Marie Courtney; his children, Michael Roy Courtney (Terry) of Lewiston and Donna J. Courtney of Lewiston; his grandchildren, Twila Vaitai, Britton Hanson, Kamie Carter (Caleb) and Danielle Courtney; his stepchildren, Kay Browitt of Pomeroy, Washington, Lee Cool (Jessie) of Pomeroy and Sheila Bond (Brett) of Lewiston; and his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Browitt, Derek Browitt, Dustin Browitt, Taylor Palmer, Justin Hill, Breanna Cool, Hunter Bond, Hannah Bond and Hailey Bond. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, ten stepgreat grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (3521 7th St, Lewiston, ID 83501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
