She was predeceased by: her parents, William Swain and Mary Catherine Newman; her husband Steven L. Dodson; and her brother Jerry. She is survived by: her son Randel "Randy" Knight (Ronda); her brothers, Dan, Bill and Steve Swain; her son Rodney; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Randen (Hope) and Rylee. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Tammany View Baptist Church (3732 20th St, Lewiston, ID 83501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
