George Currier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Currier of Lewiston, Idaho, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mae Currier (James Holman Currier) and Calif; and his siblings, James Currier, Yvonne Wilson, Arletta Johnson and James Hutchinson.
He is survived by: his former wife Jo Ann Book; his children, Robin, Arloa, Terry, Tammy, Brenda and Bryan; his wife Betty; and his pets, Brenda Rohde of Lewiston, Joe Currier (Kacey) of St. Maries, Robin Applewhite of St. Maries, Tammy Downing (Dan) of Post Falls, Arloa Dolphin (Brien) of Post Falls, Terry Anderson of Coeur d'Alene and Bryan Anderson (Melodye) of Kimberly. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was executive director of the Greater St. Joe Valley Economic Development Foundation and spearheaded the revitalization project of downtown St. Maries from 2000-2003.
