He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederik VanEngelen and Jacomina Klasina VanEngelen (van der Voet); his siblings, Cornelia and George; and his great grandchild Cheyenne.
He is survived by: his wife Monterey; his daughters, Laura Coker (Alan) of Toccoa, Debbie Pemberton (Greg) of Boise and Teresa Uptmor (Terry) of Lewiston; his siblings, Martinus (Rhoda) of Freeland and Ena Cornett of Omaha, Neb.; English. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (3521 7th St, Lewiston, ID 83501). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Air Force Aid Society at afas.org.
