With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Paul Williamson (Lewiston, Idaho), who passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Paul Williamson Sr. of Crow Agency; his wife Annabell Grover-Williamson; his sister Marquel Delacruz; his grandparents, Dexter Williamson, Lorraine Morrison-Williamson, Lillian Cloud-Smith and Samuel W. "Smitty" Smith; his stepchildren, Jonelle Mills and Jimmy Mills; his uncle Woodrow Smith; and his aunts, Marlene McAtty and LaVeda McAtty.
He is survived by: his mother Vicki Smith-Johnson of Lapwai; his siblings, Dion Smith, Nakia Williamson of Lapwai, Mont, Melveen "Paula" Fisher, Trudy Old Crane, Marvin Beauvais, Michael Old Crane, Ross Plain Feather, Olivia Rose Sabato, Mary Negron, Jonella Lockley and Hub Williamson; his son Austin Lance of Florida; his stepchildren, Vanessa Mills, Holly Mills and Jackie Mills of Tahola, Wash.; and his goddaughter Stacia Greene-Morfin of Lewiston.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pi-Nee-Waus Community Center (504 Main St S, Lapwai, ID 83540). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at the Spalding Cemetery.
