He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Thiessen and Melba Thiessen; his siblings, Gene and Margaret; and his wife Louvette.
He is survived by: his brother Bob; his daughters, Melissa Sander and Terri Spriet (Jerrod); his granddaughters, Becky Finnell (Derek), Shelby Cook (Leiden) and Sami Spriet; and his great grandchildren, Laramie and Dally Finnell.
