She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Hawk and Lottie Hawk; her husband Vernon R. Hammond; her sons, Richard Hammond and Gary Hammond; her stepson Larry Hammond; and her brothers, Wilbur, Merlin, Derrel, Keith, Valworth, Charlie, Alvalee, Delbert, Kenneth, James and Joseph.
She is survived by: her brother David Hawk (Patricia); her children, Verna Allison (Robert E.) and Charles Hammond; and her grandchildren, Rosalie Frazier (Sam), Odessa Clark (Timothy), Robert J. Allison, Bradley, Bryan Hammond, Jason Hammond, Lexi and Cara Sorensen. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
