He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Scott "Pete" Benscoter and Mary Ella Lyle; his wife Vicky Gold; his brother Bob; his children, Heather Osborne, Holly Martin and Robbie; and his stepdaughter Lesley Gold (Kopp).
He is survived by: his former wife Joanne "Jo" Paulson; his stepdaughter Karen Gold of Seattle; William and Dorothy Lyle. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his nieces and nephews.
