Jon leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jon’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jon will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon Ward and Carolyn Williams Ward. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Ann Thomas; his children, J. Cles Ward IV (Leslie) of Ruckersville, Virginia, Lydia Zollinger (Jeff) of Reno, Nevada and Kristin Ward of Reno, Nevada.; and his sisters, Ann Keller (Kevin) of Mantua and Jill Blaisdell (Keith) of Malad, Idaho.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Horsley Funeral Home (132 300 North, Malad City, ID 83252). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Malad LDS 3rd Ward (400 200 W, Malad City, ID 83252).
