She was predeceased by: her parents, Donna Hirshi Reading and Karl Reading; her husband Spencer Atkinson; her son Bill Atkinson; and her brother Rodney Reading.
She is survived by: her sisters, Gayle Godfrey (Bob) and Karla Reading (Allen Ayoub); and her children, Paula Zohner (Wyatt), Doug Atkinson (Kathy), VeAnn Trimble (Todd), Dee Atkinson (Jodi), Alan Atkinson (Andrea) and Phillip Atkinson (Stacey).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Oneida County Library.
