He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse William Neal and Virginia Ireta Vroman Neal; his grandparents, William Job and Maria Bradshaw Neal; his close friend Arvilla Marie Evans Neal; and his son Ray Eugene Neal.

He is survived by: his sister Sherril Murray (Mike Murray) of Lakeport, California..
