He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Joseph and Ethel Hall Cottle; his spouse Julene Bunker; his children, Randy Cottle (Alaine) of Pleasant Grove, Utah, LaNae Glenn of Logan, Utah, Robert Cottle (Sheryl) of Malta and Laurel Phillips (Mark Phillips) of Franklin, Tennessee; his granddaughter Janica Crawford; and his foster son Nathan Moose. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Fisher House (http://www.fisherhouse.org) in order to help other US Veterans and their families.
