We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2025, at the age of 90, Gary Neil Gunter of McCammon, Idaho, born in Pocatello, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his sister Joan Paradis; his grandson Jeremy Anderson; and his son-in-law Carl Lantz. He is survived by: his wife Janet Gunter of McCammon; his children, Donna Emfield (Scott) of Ammon, Alex Gunter of Vancouver, Cindy Lantz of Downey and Wendy Betty (Todd) of McCammon; and his siblings, Martell Gunter (Jill) of McCammon and Nadine Marlow (Jay) of Wapello, Idaho.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the McCammon LDS Stake Center (403 W 16th St, McCammon, ID 83250). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
