She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard C. Bates and Eunice Hesser Bates; her former husband Shorty Mann; her husband Hal England; her son Larry Mann; and her stepson Val England.
She is survived by: her sons, Kelly Mann (Lyla), Jim England (Doug) and Bill Mann (Bill); and her stepchildren, Gary England (Rosalina), Dennis England (Linda) and Barbara Millon. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Summers Funeral Homes (3629 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID 83646). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Mary Lou's name to the El Korah Shrine, continuing her lifelong passion for the benefit of the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
