He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Janice Kay Dees; daughters: Tammy Lynn (Paul) Bergerson and Lisa Marie (Timothy) Petersen; grandchildren: Lea Anna Marie (John Paul) Dees Kelley, Brittany Nicole (Evan) Bolduc, Zachary Allen (Cara) Petersen, Jacob Riley Bergerson, and Tyler John (Talayjah) Petersen; great grandchildren: Ethan Louis Dees Kelley, Rilan Dean Barnes, Rowen Blair Barnes, Declan Allen Petersen, Kinley Dee Petersen, and Azaire Ki'Mauri John Petersen; parents: Capt. John Harold Dees and Henrietta Dees.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cloverdale Funeral Home (1100 N Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83713-7805). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cloverdale Event Center (1200 N Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83713). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Idaho State Veteran Cemetery (10100 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, ID 83714).
