He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Raymond Scott and Afton Lucille Park; and his wife Karen Jean Hawkes. He is survived by: his children, Ann Albertson (Kortny) of Roberts, Melissa Taylor (Brent) of Rigby, Kent Scott (Leah) of Gooding, Steven Scott (Melinda) of Logan, Bill Scott (Stacie) of Kauai, Dwight Scott (Cindy) of Monteview, John Scott of Menan and Andy Scott (Kristie) of Hamer Idaho; and his siblings, Ruth Maughn of Lehi, Deniece Kinghorn (Jon) of New Jersey, Deral Scott of Wyoming, Kenneth Scott (Kayleen) of Mapleton and Blaine Scott (Debbie) of Logan. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
