It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amanda Scott (Montpelier, Idaho), who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Amanda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her parents, Stuart Crane and Kathy Crane of Bennington, Idaho.; her husband Brad Scott; her children, Blake, Daphne and Lydia Porter; and her siblings, Vince (Vanica), Travis and Stephanie (Dave). She is also survived by her two grandnephews and one grandniece, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bennington LDS Ward Church (24 E Center St, Montpelier, ID 83254). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Bennington Cemetery Cemetery.
