He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Peterson and Carolin Peterson; his grandmother Lilian White; his wife Sandra Peterson; his brother Mike Peterson; and his daughter Jenna Lois-Louise Peterson.

He is survived by : his siblings, Anthony Peterson, Susan Peterson, Bobbie Ailport, Patty Bigelow and Gayle Kelly; and his children, Nakia Peterson, Sarkisian Peterson and Megan Peterson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
