She is survived by: her spouse Val; her son Rod Whiting (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Shane Staton, Carson Whiting, Desi Whiting, Kyle Whiting and Alyssa Whiting; her sister Sandy; her nephew Chuck (Heather); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zach and Mandy.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Vandal Scholarship Fund, or the University of Idaho in her name, or to the local humane society in Moscow.
