With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vance E. Penton Jr. in Moscow, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Edwin Penton Sr. and Ruby Virginia Penton (Powers); and his son Kirk Penton. He is survived by: his wife Lola Penton; his sons, Scott Penton (Deana) and Eric Penton; his grandchildren, Maverick Penton and Cherysh Penton; his stepgranddaughters, Justine Reckard (Dillon) and Melaina Black (Spencer); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Arianna, Stewart, Chevelle and Lotus; his nieces, Felicia, Denise and Tanya; Eugene Storm Penton of Boise.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department.
