He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Ernest Kessel, Sr. and Alice; his siblings, Doris Bridwell and Ralph Kessel; and his granddaughter Jessica Kessel of Florida.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Kessel; and his sons, Edward Kessel (Marsha) of South Carolina and Scott Kessel (Karen) of Mountain Home. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (725 N 18th E St, Mountain Home, ID 83647).
