David O. Autio Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David O. Autio of Mullan, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David "Casey" Autio, Sr. and Lulu May Autio (Krause); his wife Ellen Louise Durfee; and his sister Carol Autio. He is survived by: his daughters, Marla Trogden (James) of Mullan and Natalie Farrell (Ross) of St. Maries; his grandchildren, Riley Trogden (Karmen), Alex Trogden and Grace Farrell; and his sister Louella Irvine of Pinehurst. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Dave's memory to the Mullan School District or to the Dale Noordam Flag and Flower fund through the Mullan City Hall.
