He is survived by: his wife Janet Zingler; his children, Dale Newell (DeeDee) of Mullan, Kristie Smith (Rick) of Mullan and Keith Newell of Mullan; his grandchildren, Jackie Smith, John Smith (Chelsea), Shasta Jolley (Jordan) and Travis Newell (Madison); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Tucker Smith, Addison, Cedar and Svea Newell; and his brother Joe Welling of St. Maries. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
