He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Smith and Herschell Smith; his siblings, Kemp Smith, Diana Rose and Herschell Homer Smith; and his son Eugene Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Smith (Angie), Allen Smith (Tina) and Vicki Huter; his grandchildren, Daniel Huter (Carly), Whitney Foster (Steven), Joshua Smith, Jessica Ashby (Anthony) and Tyler Smith (Arial); his great grandchildren, Otis and Jones Huter; his grandchildren, Charlotte Foster, Abigail Smith, Emerson, Ellie Mae, Ruby, Benny Ashby, James and Riley Smith; and his former wife Patricia Smith.
