She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Alvarado (Alva) and Pedro Alvarado; her husbands, Abel Vasquez and Gary Carpenter; her siblings, Lawrence (Margaret), David (Ida), Sam, Joseph and Alejandra (Denna); and her great grandchild Ellen.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Vasquez (Judy), Andrew Vasquez (Emma) and Joseph Vasquez (Cecilia); her siblings, Bernie, Daniel, Elias (Maria), MaryAnn and Mary; and her grandchildren, Katie, Luke, Beth, Sarah, Michael, Abel, Leon and Nathaniel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many extended family.
