She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thompson and Olive Thompson (Rongstad); her husband Robert Michaelis; her daughter Norma Jean Gieg; her daughter-in-law JoAnn Michaelis; and her brothers, Paul, Robert, Howard, John and Raymond Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (David) and David (Konnie); her grandchildren, Whitney, Marcus, Mason, Andrea and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Addison, Maclin, Maren, Maeleigh, Avianna and Brock; her brother Donald; and her son-in-law Oscar Cortez. She is also survived by family members include many nieces.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Children's Sunday School Department at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene, 601 16th Ave. So., Nampa, ID 83651.
