It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Standish (Howard) Roy of Nampa, Idaho, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Allen Howard and Iva Helen Ax. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her brothers, Walter Howard (Wally) of Meridian and Ed Howard; her sons, Douglas Strang of Emmett, Steven Strang of Caldwell and Joel Strang (Sylvia) of Alaska; and her sisters-in-law, Sylvia Herr of California and Lisa Roy of California. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial suggestion is a donation in Helen's name for the Iva Howard Music Scholarship at Northwest Nazarene University (623 S Univ).
