He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sims and Lora Sims (Gray); his siblings, Leala, Bonnie, Lendell and Colburn; his daughter Candy; and his grandson Drew.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lee, Jennifer, Heather, Joshua, Kristina, Victoria, Andrew, Danielle, Alexa and Austin; his great grandchildren, Shadan, Justin, Adrianne, Evelynn, Graham, Isabella, Ryan and Elan; his wife Alene Ledford; his children, Joy Koelling (Craig), Jim Sims (Kristy), Patricia Sims (Matt Brnusak) and Tom Sims; and his son-in-law Terry Borchardt. He is also survived by his grandchildren, his 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
