With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Louis Baker of Nampa, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond (Grace Mae Baker) and Blackfoot; his siblings, Anna Fuhrman and Eugene Baker; and his nephew Gary Cooper.
He is survived by: his sibling Indian; his wife June Walker; his pets, Ollie and Fenix; his daughter Vicki Cooper (Greg Cooper); his granddaughters, Danielle Quantie (Jordan Silva), Samantha Quantie (Stone Trischan) and Bailee Quantie; and his brother Ed Baker (Nita Baker).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel (415 12th Ave S, Nampa, ID 83651). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery (15862 S Indiana Ave, Caldwell, ID 83607). A reception will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cooper Residence (2627 Toma Ct, Nampa, ID 83686).
