With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Ann Van Slyke (Nampa, Idaho), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Othilia Winkelbauer and Frank Winkelbauer; her children, Donna Johnston (Gary), Diane Marie (Bruce) and Steven Louis; and her grandchildren, Christopher Van Slyke, Sommar Kramer, Dawn Simpson, Danielle Simpson and Jeffrey Van Slyke.

She is survived by: her husband Dick Van Slyke; and her children, Jennie Schow (Bill), Tim, Anita McGonigle (John), Neil, Mark (Maxine), Tammy Roberts (Scott), Kelly (Jeannie), Ryan, Lea Hyatt (Rod), Mary Ann and Dick. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.

“My heart is heavy, hearing about the passing of Mary Ann. She was a special part of my childhood, The 1st memory That comes to mind is Mary Ann is playing Christmas songs on the organ. Walking in the patio door, Dick in his Recliner and Mary Ann in the kitchen, asking if I wanted anything to drink and then down to Neils room. She always so gracious and kind. A true Matriarch.
