She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Russell and Lester Russell; her husbands, Tom Vandermeer and Jonas Lee; her son Dan Vandermeer (Tim); her stepson David Lee (Charlotte); her brothers, Melvin, Lee (Bonnie), Les and Ralph Russell (Donna); and her sister-in-law Bev Russell.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Vandermeer (Diane) and John "Rick" Vandermeer (Alice); her stepchildren, Michael Lee (Deana), Debra Harder (David), Vickie Dahlin (Steven) and Laura Roher; her siblings, Wayne Russell, Ruth Wine and Carol Bowers (Jim); and her grandchildren, Steve Vandermeer (Tanya), Nikki Vandermeer-Wright (Dan), Dustin Vandermeer, Angie Mori (Dustin) and Heather Lund (Jeremy). She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
