With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melanie Lasater Kunz of Nampa, Idaho, who passed away on May 13, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Lasater; her husband Brent Kunz; and her grandson Justus Kirkendall. She is survived by: her children, Jenny Anderson, Emily Kirkendall (KR), Rachael Stewart (Eddie) and Greg Wardle (Brittany); her stepchildren, Katharine Wilkinson (Chris), Marianne Shanor (Dicky) and J. Brent Kunz; her mother Marilyn Lasater; and her siblings, Mary Lynn, Leslie, Carolyn and Garth. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
