She was predeceased by: her parents, Ursula Cockerham and Clyde Cockerham; her siblings, Esther Muffett, Lois Anderson and Clyde Cockerham, Jr.; and her daughter Kay Knapp.

She is survived by: her sister Esther Muffet (Lee Muffett); her husband Glenn Knapp; her daughters, Vicki Knapp of Nampa and Raynette Gunning; her son-in-law Miles Gunning of Meridian; and her sister Grace Peirson of Port Townsend. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to flowers, donations can be made in Rachel's name to the Water for Life charity, to the Jerusalem Prayer Team, to the Boise Rescue Mission and to the Nampa, Love, Inc, organization.
