He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eli and Minnie Ethel Grisham Small; his wife Lenore Loveland Small; his former wife Carma Mattson Jensen Small; his son Richard Thomas II; his grandchildren, Jennifer Reese, Lavious Small, Steve Serious, Brittany Andrews, Cameron J. Nez, Shane Gardner and David Harper; and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Charley Evans and Dakota Baulder.
He is survived by: his brothers, Earnest, Earl and Robert; his daughter-in-law Nancy Perkes Nilson of Sandy, UT.; his children, Sally (Ron Harper), Rodney (Janna), Samuel (Marilyn), Sidney (Delene), Brenda (late Chris Cook), Rhea (Ralph Nielson), JoLene (Andrew Herzog), Stanley (Stephne) and Theodore Las Vegas (Antioco Carrillo); his stepsons, Alan Jensen (Wendy) and Bruce Jensen; Mildred and Mary. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
