He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Samuel Robertson and Gladys Robertson; and his sisters, Dorothy Barnes and Kathryn Beebe. He is survived by: his wife Virgie Robertson; his sons, Robert Bruce (Robin), Richard Dale (Barbara) and Charles Dean (Lynda); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Samuel, Stephanie, Carrie, Kasey, Matt, Ryan, Bert, Clint and Corey.
The family suggests that, if desired, memorial contributions be made in Dean's honor to Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF).
