She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burt and Berta Burt; her husband Mel; and her siblings, Bob and Susan.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Markus, Scott (Marcine Markus), Rick (Kimber Markus) and Jay (Melody Markus). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
