He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ilin and Dorothea Ilin; his grandmother Elisabetha Frash; and his brother Waldemar Ilin. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Ilin of Meridian, Idaho; his daughter Debbie Flaming (Dion) of Caldwell, Idaho; his grandson Cameron Flaming (Dani); his great grandchildren, Jett and Westyn; his granddaughters, Brittany Burkes (Bryan) and Ashley Boggan (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Olivia and Aubrey; his grandson Luke Flaming (Jessie); his great grandchild Riley; his daughter Lori Edmark (Dave) of Eagle, Idaho; his grandson Miles Edmark (Kayla); his great grandchildren, James and Noel; his granddaughter Alison Adler (Chris); his great grandchildren, Tom and Joe; his daughter Suzy Keidel (Mike) of Newberg, Oregon; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jason Keidel and Nicole Mitchell (Michael); and his great grandchild Mallory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts could be made to the Boise Rescue Mission.
