Margie Scripture Abbott Obituary

We announce the death of Margie Scripture Abbott of Parma, Idaho, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 94. Margie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Margie will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Margie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Ray" Scripture and Nina Scripture; her husband Raymond Abbott; and her daughter Lynne (Douglas Marston). She is survived by: her children, Ronald (Cheryl) of Boise and Lora Ulrich (Steve) of Kuna; and her brother Gaylord Scripture (Barbara) of Parma. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church or to a favorite charity in memory of Margie.
