He was predeceased by : his brother Doiel Smyser; and his sister-in-law Margaret Boone Smyser. He is survived by : his former life partner Mildred Skelton Smyser; his children, Melodie Ann Blower and Charles A. "Skip" Smyser; his wife Lois Hollingsworth; his grandchildren, Robert D. Blower II, Michael C. Blower (Tiffany) and Marci Blower; his great grandchildren, Catherine of Stockton, California. and Caroline Blower of Stockton, California.; his children, C. A. "Skip" Smyser (Melinda Sloviaczek Smyser) of Roswell, Lincoln W. Smyser, Logan Smyser-Griffin (Joe), Landon Samuel Smyser and Lauren Ballenger (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Harper of Boise and Hudson Smyser of Boise.
