She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Roybal and Lucy Roybal; her husband Florentino Montez; and her siblings, George, Bernard, Jerry, Malex, Simon, Anna, Mary, Josie and Eddie.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Montez (Karen) of Renton, WA, Gloria Cocco of Laramie, WY, Kathy Gilseth (Steve) of Kingston, ID, Linda Clanton of Spokane, WA and Connie Morris (Bruce) of Prescott Valley, AZ; her sister Fran Colman of Yakima, WA; and her grandchildren, Joey, Christina, Jessaka, Jaylene, Lisa, Samantha, Jared, John, David, Alexandra, Francesca, Danielle and Zachary. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
