He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Fanning and Charlotte Traughber; his wife Dawn; his stepsons, Mike (Holly) and Jake (Stephanie); his former wife Leslie; and his children, John (Amanda), Portia (Mike), Jared (Jocelyn), Joseph (Donna) and Jacob (Jessica). He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
