He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCreery and Kate Birch-McCreery. He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his sisters, Sheila Howard and Marcey Simmons (Jim); his children, Tonya Sloup (Mike) and KC McCreery (Trish); his grandsons, RJ Sloup and Kade Sloup; his pet Shadow; and his friend Ray. He is also survived by many brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
