He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Garcia and Maria Garcia; his son Manuel Garcia; his siblings, Isidoro Garcia, Alfonso Garcia, Jose Manuel Garcia, Encarnacion "Chon" Garcia, Alfredo Garcia, Mere Garcia, Francisca Lucio and San Juanita Rios; and his grandson Emilio Castillo.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Ramona Garcia; and his children, Miguel Garcia (Suzan), Maria Garcia, Martin Garcia, Minerva Gonzales (Frank), Mario Garcia (Linda) and Marcos Garcia (Debbie). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Viewing was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis-Rose Mortuary (170 Idaho St, American Falls, ID 83211). Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at 280 Polk St, American Falls, ID 83211. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Falls View Cemetery (2938 McKinley Rd, American Falls, ID 83211).
