It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Martin Fister (Post Falls, Idaho), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Fister and Helen Cook Fister; and his siblings, Grace Goodwater and Edward Fister. He is survived by: his granddaughter Janet; his wife Joan Connick; his daughters, Janet Waterdown and Joanne Fister; and his grandchildren, Jake and Abbey Waterdown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
