She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon Chapman and Lorena Chapman; her husbands, James Ruland and Larry Phillips Sr.; and her son Phillip Ruland.
She is survived by : her children, Douglas Ruland and Michelle Van Slate. She is also survived by one sister, 6 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
